Hello Friend: I see Thamizham.net and your efforts continue to expand. Good wishes. I received your request to send info regarding Tamil schools in local areas, I will try to forward it to Toronto area Tamil schools.I note number of magazines with Socialist or Marxist thoughts. I also hear strong voices against the caste system. But, I am afraid they are not the mainstream view points. In Tamil Nadu, caste matters, and capitalism is the order. Do you sense any progress in this matter? Also, please select or comment which concepts from below best describe the modern Tamil identity.

Hi, Is it possible to buy the lessons at www.thamizham.net/edu.htm ? I'll send the photograph of our school as soon as possible. Tulsi Gopal (www.Marathady.com), is also out society member. There are about 25 Tamil families at Christchurch. I'm one of the voluntary teachers at the tamil school. We use computer and projector (recently donated by a company) to teach tamil. Tamil school function in weekends. Kasturi Subramaniam teaches music.
